I bought this MacBook air about 6 months ago because the screen on my daughters MacBook pro broke. I was going to switch out the hard drives since the air worked great. The hard drives are not interchangeable. It's been sitting on my desk since then. It dosent come with the cord and I can't tell you anything more about it exept it runs find. I however didn't bother asking the password from the previous owner or if it even had one since I was going to toss the hard drive.
