I have decided to sell my 1966 Chevrolet C20 “Custom Camper”
and Slide-In El Dorado Camper. I have begun and am already somewhat knee deep
in the restoration of a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette and it demands my time and attention.

To the Next Steward of this 1966 Time Capsule:
This is a rig for the person who doesn’t just look at a truck, but looks under it. It’s for the collector who understands why a 327 High Torque suffix "YS" engine matters, and why finding a single-reservoir master cylinder still on a low-mile firewall is a miracle of preservation.

The Truck: A 1966 C20 Custom Camper (VIN 107096) This is a "Fremont California" build that escaped the salt of the Midwest. Delivered new to Carl Hatch in Heber, Utah in 1966 … it spent its life in the high-desert air of the West. The metal is mostly crisp, original, and unmolested.

The Cabin: I’ve restored the cockpit to "Day One" status. It features a beautiful dash with the rare factory tachometer. I took great lengths sourcing NOS SMS Auto Fabrics to recover the seat in the exact 1966 woven pattern.
The Performance: It isn't a trailer queen. It "runs like a top" because I’ve dialed in the Muncie 4-speed and the 4.10 rear end. To make it a true cross-country machine, I integrated a Southern Aire Cooler with Sanden Rotary AC Compressor—it looks like a factory install but keeps you ice-cold in a Missouri July.

The Unicorn: A 1965 El Dorado "Time Capsule" I found this camper in a climate-controlled building on a farm in North Kansas City. It had been sitting on jack stands in a concrete floor building since the day it was bought in September 1965 from Bryan Travel Coach in Basehor, KS. The Condition: It is NOS (New Old Stock). It has basically never been used. The honey-birch woodwork is unmolested. The Teal Hadco stove and fridge are brand new.
The Paperwork: I have the original 1965 Bill of Sale, every appliance manual, and the original hang tags !

The Marriage I didn't just put a camper in a truck; I unified a local Missouri treasure with a western survivor. This is a museum-grade rig that you can actually drive. It pulls with ease, stays cool, and represents a level of documentation that only happens once in a lifetime.

I will go into great detail in the rest of the ad, so if you are the type that likes “all” the detail, here you go. If not, the above summary already given should suffice.
