If the power goes out you're stuck...well Einstein, the gas pumps are electric...solar will still work if you have it. The parts are so expensive...No, check ebay, they are very inexpensive and plenty around. No smog, oil changes, sensors, timing belts, spark plugs, head gaskets, etc...No leaks in the driveway, Brakes last 100,000 miles. Yes, Tesla's are very quick off the line to 80 or so. Many models do 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Yes, a road trip will take longer due to charging. Like I tell people, Tesla's aren't for everyone, but they are for most people. If they were such POS, why are there so many on the road ?
